Re: [microsound] PSP
Homebrewn development-kit can be found here:
http://www.devkitpro.org/
news about homebrewn applications can be found here:
http://psp-news.dcemu.co.uk/
But a very important note: You need a PSP with
Firmware version 1.0 or 1.5 to run homebrewn code.
Higher firmware version will not run unsigned
(=homebrewn) code. As far as official microsound or
music applications for the psp there have not been
many.
Note: currently the hackers-scene is working on a
(early) version 2.0 Firmware Exploit and they have
been able to run some code on that particular FW but
it is still waiting for a true exploit.
So once again, if you want to run any onofficial /
homebrewn code or play (il)legal back-ups from your
memorystick you need a PSP with firmware v1.0 or 1.5
Firmware v1.5.1 / 1.5.2 / 2.0 will not allow you to
run anything but the official software, movies & other
content from the umds.
