It.s often bad practice for a list member to discuss list behaviour on 
list...but in this case, i really have to say something.). It surprises 
me how many people don't observe the most basic of mailing list 
courtesies, that is, refraining from replying to posts with one liners 
like 'me too' , 'definitely', 'same here'..., It's List Etiquette 101, 
as is trimming posts for the benefit of those on digests.

how important is it for 1000+ people to know 'me too'?

this is 'one to many' communication, not one to one. 'Me too' is not 
meaningful communication in that context.

Could we please observe the basic differences?

whether I am right or wrong to make a request for improved list
