Re: [microsound] csound + custom midi controller howto
this usb box:
http://multio.mamalala.de/
can handle up to 88 analog inputs (12 bit adc for sensors, sliders, etc..),
64 digital inputs (buttons, switch), 64 analog outputs (light dimmers etc.),
64 digital output (leds, etc)
A PureData object has been developed to use it (win32, linux and osx), the
code can easly be ported to Max.
here is a link to the CVS (firmware and pd object)
http://www.artengine.ca/viewcvs/multio/#dirlist
Ciao,
Davide.

Subject: [microsound] csound + custom midi controller howto
here's a nice howto for getting started with csound and building a
custom midi controller with a basic stamp (bx24; includes code):
PART 1 :: http://www.hackaday.com/entry/1234000027055663/
http://tinyurl.com/8ytg4
PART 2 :: http://www.hackaday.com/entry/1234000493056642/
http://tinyurl.com/cotpw
sort of blurry photos, but this still looks like a good starting point
for people who want to play with csound+hardware.
best,
jake
