I guess you didn't try SuperCollider yet. Am I wrong?

I think one should try and use all the software available. It doesn't  
make sense trying to decide between chuck and supercollider (or  
whatever) without trying and using them for a while. I've been using  
SuperCollider a lot in the last months and that didn't make me stop  
using CSound or Max/Msp, or Adobe Audition, or Peak, or Digital  
Performer, or...
