Re: [microsound] gaming joysticks as MIDI controllers?

i don`t really know much about midi (i`m only just beginning to explore
sound), but if you`re looking for weird controllers try this
one:

http://pollin.de/shop/shop.php?cf=detail.php&pg=OA==&a=NTUzOTgyOTk=&w=NDk4OTM5
newer driver version for it:
http://members.driverguide.com/driver/detail.php?driverid=53152

it`s kinda cheap, i bought it for 10 euro, but you should be able to get one
on ebay for less(at least in germany, i found none on ebay.com, on ebay.ca
it costs 42 euro which is really ridiculous considered that it`s 5 years
old), you can`t use it to play a game properly because it`s really spongy
due to the used technique, but you can have quite some fun with it and a
joystick controllable musicprogram e.g. jambient, crusher-x or buzz (with
the joyplug-plugin).
