steim's junxion should work for reaktor, and if not then maxmsp has the hi
object for this
kind of thing, then you could send the messages from there with midi or open
sound control.
gamecontrollers are very easily hacked too, as the innards are allways
modular for quick assembly in the production line, so you just need to find
where the joysticks are connected to the main board
and then substitute other controllers for the joysticks, which are usually
just two pots attatched
to the x and y of the stick.
