[microsound] PWGL for Mac/PC and FREE

looks like it's finally available:

It was discussed in CMJ a few months ago:

PWGL 1.0 beta (LispWorks 4.4.5, OSX 10.4 and XP version)

Overview
PWGL is an OpenGL based visual programming language specialized in computer
aided composition and sound synthesis. PWGL is a successor of PatchWork (PW)
and aims to develop and improve many of the useful concepts behind PW.

PWGL provides a direct access to its base languages, Common Lisp and CLOS.
Besides a library of basic boxes (arithmetic, lisp functions, list handling,
loops, abstractions, conversion, etc.), PWGL contains several large scale
applications, such as:
- Expressive Notation Package, ENP (represented in PWGL by Score-editor and
Chord-editor)
- 2D-editor
- PWGLSynth
- Constraints

These applications are discussed in several publications.

PWGL tutorial contains some basic information in text format and several
folders containing example patches demonstrating PWGL.
For more information see the entry 'Tutorials.txt'.

PWGL runs currently under Mac OS X and Windows XP operation systems. PWGL is
free software. It is not open source, however. PWGL is distributed in two
different configurations: as a standalone application, called
'PWGL-application', that is targeted mainly to end users, and as a
developers version, 'PWGL-binaries', that requires the LispWorks programming
environment (www.lispworks.com). This version will be made available as a
pre-compiled module that is loaded on top of LispWorks.

PWGL is based on many concepts and ideas that were originally developed for
PatchWork (Laurson, Rueda, Duthen, Assayag, Agon) and thus credit should be
given to numerous programmers, composers and researchers that were involved
in this project.

The current research team at Sibelius Academy behind PWGL consists of Mikael
Laurson, Mika Kuuskankare and Vesa Norilo. The approximate contribution list
within the project is as follows:

PWGL: Mikael Laurson and Mika Kuuskankare
ENP: Mika Kuuskankare
PWGLSynth: Vesa Norilo (C++ code), Mikael Laurson (PWGL interface)
Programming tools and CAPI interface: Mika Kuuskankare
