Re: [microsound] interfaces for dsp
Well, since the question concerns micro processors used in sound
production I could understand how an unjaded list reader , contributor
could find it quite on-topic. Of course in the list guidelines it
clearly states that discussions of gear are not included in the general
purpose of the list.
Where the cause for discretion Arises is when gear becomes aesthetics.
It might be interesting to avoid mentioning gear at all. For example:
'I took my [ ] to the field in my [ ] . Later , after firing up
the [ ] maker , I transfered the files and processed them into
something only the mother of a cat could love. I picked up my [ ] and
wrote a letter to a local gallery dealer , stating that if his , hear
thoughts didn't coincide with mine exactly for 37 1/2 hours during the
next quarter of the moon I'd throw a childish temper tantrum.
Delighted with my [ ]manship and choice of fluffy stationary the no
mark hypnotee made some flyers with his inkjet [ ].
On the delightful evening I took my [ ] to the gallery opened the
[ ] and pouted and preened my way through an undeafening roar
probably not from heaven. I noticed later that the [ ] was full of
moolah.'
cheers , happy advent or ramadan or hanukah (or whatever) , or
nothingness

Any thoughts on how off-topic this question is?
