said, what happens when a musician coughs during a performance? spills
a beer? sees their significant other flirting in the audience? does
that translate to MIDI?
Don't you think this happens anyway? Even without a MIDI interface?
Have you ever noticed how even just listening to a recording with
someone else will be a completely different experience than listening
alone?
There is always the matter of priorities of a performer. The manner
and degree of concentration , where it starts and stops. It seems that
the decision to perform in the first place involves a certain amount of
emotion.
I think it's good when technological advances make one aware of
what's happening already...
