hmmm.... i'm trying to remember. it could have been as simple as making
the file small and sizing it back up to get the pixellation. part of
it is also
the image - the main screen image is the entire contents of my webpage
layered - and that can affect how the derezzing looks (more complexity
causes more glitchiness.) however, it's also possible that i did some
manipulation in either photoshop or after effects to heighten the
effect.
try the down and up sizing trick first and see how it works.
another tip: since my page is all flash, all the images are vectors,
created
in adobe illustrator cs and exported to flash. i think the workflow
for this page
was to export from illustrator to photoshop (or after effects, i just
can't recall)
and then resizing. i then made a jpg from that and put it into the
flash file.
let me know if this helps. you could easily script this in photoshop.
