Re: [microsound] help for a beginner

You may also want to buy a book or two on the subject. Computer
Music by Dodge and Jerse is a good one, as well as The Computer Music
Tutorial and also Microsound by Curtis Roads. The Csound book also
has a lot of nice information for beginners. It is important to get
an understanding of discrete sampled systems, since that is how
computers process sound!

Good luck, and don't be frustrated. It will take years to master, but
it is fun and well worth it.
