Re: [microsound] confusion is next



it's just that myspace has a stink about it.  when you
associate your art with this stinky distro tool,
you're already debasing it.  thats an opinion.  i dont
think that "using myspace to reach more people " is a
valid argument.   havent you ever been disappointed
when an artist you respect does something really
foolish that debases their art ?  new order once made
a sunkist commercial for god's sake.   any example can
count here.  but the analogy is, that music, art,
film, has got to be properly disributed.  because
there are aesthetic and political and meaningfull
ramifications resulting from those choices.  and there
are so many means of growing your music and art within
a community without having to farm it on myspace.
