actually, no it's not...it is privately owned and funded and your
money does not in any way go to maintain or buy any portion of their
servers -- unless you happen to advertise there...so, myspace.com is
a private space that is run and regulated by those who hold the purse
strings...the politics of that situation are self-evident...

and the idea of droplifting is very, very different since it is about
infiltrating environments with unexpected cultural objects...i.e.,
you EXPECT to find music at myspace but not a droplifted CD at your
local Laundromat...
