well, i disagree on this. i think just sending a link with a myspace
addy is just as much pure selfpromotion as other labels are promoting
events and releases on the announce list. i really don't see a dif-
ference on this. and with labels and concerts it makes even more sense
in my opinion as most of them are not only promoting themselves and their
work, but also other peoples work... no?

probably i also feel like this as this myspace discussion generated a
lot of traffic. the more interesting parts about it i thought were the
discussion if myspace is useful or not and for what purpose. but just
everybody sending a link and saying i'm here?

and is anyone actually checking out all those pages and listening to all
the music up there?
