Whilst I understand both of your points of view, Microsound is about
community to me. No matter how you see MySpace it is still part of
establishing and extending a communal relationship.
I have valued the chance to be exposed to more artists and their
sounds.
That said, I'm sure there is a better way for us to do this. Perhaps
we can
just set up a basic web page for links to Microsound member pages?
And to chime in again - I think Microsound-announce is a bad idea.
We're all
fairly experienced computer users - surely we have good mail
sorting/filtering in place? Again, liberal use of the delete key is
fine..
Simon.

Hallo,
why is it, that myspace URL annoucements are allowed here, but the
really interesting announcements have to go to microsound-announce?!
I'm absolutely not interested in getting swamped in silly deeplinks
to
some market research website like myspace, be it microsound-related
or
not.
Kim, please do something!
Ciao
