Hmm, you are right, Russolo and Cage?
Perhaps not, but i found it quite interesting to create an all-digital 
version of Cage's tacet 4'33" as an .ogg file for a course on 
university, consisting entirely of zeros:

mona.mur.at/peter/Cage_Plessas_tacet_4_33.ogg

Amazingly, the file size is just 29kb!
This shows how data reduction works.

Russolo nowadays would still be a streaming artist i suppose.
