Sorry, I wasn't sure how to phrase it, since the word "band" can also
mean musical group. I'm talking about bands in the anthropological
sense, in which a band is the smallest classified cultural mode. This

I'm going to plead ignorance of what a "tribal band" is; most of my
google hits are about tattoos and aboriginal societies. I'm guessing
it's a kind of large musical ensemble -- is this on the right track?
