blanchot wanted to say "the disaster takes care of everything" but it doesnt really. the disaster eliminates certain obstacles, inhibitions, opressions and repressions, temporarily.
yes I'm currently reading his work on 'disaster' and I find it very dense and slow going
because each thought he expresses needs a lot of time for reflectionbut ultimately it is very stimulating and has brought me to some new thoughts about 'disaster'
