Thank you for your interesting approach and response Graham!

what's wrong w/ dark energy?
Thats whats wrong! maybe to you its is a *bright* idea to call it dark! :)

some part of me feels that dark matter and dark energy might go the
same way as aether did. sure the existence of dark energy and dark
matter help explain, or flll in the blanks, to some big questions
regarding the total amount of mass in the universe and its effect of
gravity and the formation of galaxies... but maybe it'll take another
einstein to tackle the problem from a totally different angle...

Yes! there you go! we fill in the blanks. we are to simple for the
unknown. to scared of it.
I don't like it being described as *dark* because dark i negativley
loaded, in the context of the unknown. I know i'm diggin into the idea
of symbolics, but unfortunatley i think, until we get to plugg our
brains into a computer, symbolics is the only way to figure and frame
for each other, the unknown that has a potential explaination.
I love to read about this type of topics, and i don't want to waste it
in a debat of dark is +/- good/evil.
I just reacted to it, as another proof that our civilisation is feeling
bitter about something... It even reflects in science.
Optimysticaly yours,
Set H.

Ugly word for a beautyfull thing. "Dark Energy".....
Even scientists are spreading the bitter words!
But this dosn't say I like your idea. And i do like your idea.
