Re: [microsound] MAX/MSP Algorithmic Generative Patch

No the point is, advice or patches for WHAT?

The subject wasn't made clear at all...algorithmic audio? Midi? Video? For an installation? For music? For spatialization?

What do you want the algorithms to do?

My best piece of advice is this: you have to know what you are going to do, have an idea or a goal, before you start looking for arbitrary algorithms for an unexplained purpose. If there was any direction whatsoever in guiding this conversation besides "I want things that do math." then perhaps there would be a better return on ideas.

Did you post some patches somewhere I missed? It would be easy to see a lot of talking here...its a mailing list.

To join you in your pursuit to being only anal and not helpful, I'd like to
point out that the original statement

"Hi Guys,
looking forward to get some patch
in this way or some advices too.

;-) Regards"

has not a single form of interrogation. I have lots of fun little patches I've made for "algorithmic" stuff, and either you guys do as well, or you don't and just like to talk about it. So far I've seen a lot of talking.

Why is everyone so snooty about this? He just asked to share

they're too precious, right? Sure.........

Well, part of the problem is that the original question was so vague
as to be hard to answer.
