even if you could retrace your steps, it wouldn't be the same. it's 
an experience best left for memory. in fact, sometimes the memory of 
an experience, when influencing an artistic work, can be stronger 
than the actual event itself because it's gone through varying stages 
of filtering (memory loss).. and you make up what you don't exactly 
rememeber.
