disque 9 is incredibly low-tech, as if recorded directly from an sk-1.  
one track makes use of the sk-1's method of replaying a sample at what
would seem to be a different tape speed to get the effect of a lower or
higher pitch.  this way, sampling a simple melody, you can play back a
number of samples of that melody simultaneously, each at a different pitch
and moving at a different speed. so i guess the disc may
be a showpiece for how much can be done on the delightfully primitive
casio.  amusing bedtime music.
