In all of the text about this interesting label I have seen no mention of
what I believe was its first release, a CD split between Syllyk (a duo 
including Eric La Casa) and Koji Marutani (label-sensei) entitled
"Other-wise."  Syllyk's contributions are seemingly unprocessed but
elegantly collaged location recordings composed into fictional
soundscapes, whereas the KM work adds processing and further electronic
instrumentation to the field sounds, hovering them in a delicately
etherized blur slightly reminiscent of the quieter work of Yoshio Ojima or
Haruomi Hosono.  All quite beautiful and gently surreal, without a glitch
or a crackle in, so to speak, sight.

Any comments about the later offerings by Bernhard Gunter and Marc Behrens
along the DN discography?
