Just to tag something frivolous on to the end of this DSP
thread...  I own an aged NeXT turbo color (commonly referred to
as "black h/w") which sports built-in DSP hardware.  Out of
curiosity, have any of you done anything remotely creative with a
similar setup?  Favourite DSP Apps on the NeXT - looching (a
drone generator) and reich-o-matic (generates Steve Reich-like
mucic patterns).
