He's a member of Slant, a long-running avant rock-cum-turntables project
responsible for two *very* odd albums on Sound & Languange. Jeck is the sort
of character who has been playing around with records and tape loops for
years. he has worked with artists and choreographers, produced the early
turntablist/tape opus _Loopholes_ (also for Touch), and orchestrated the
in/famous "Vinyl Requiem" (a conceptual performance featuring slide/movie
projectors and nearly 200 turntables).

btw, if you like _Surf_, you'll really love Martin Tétreault.
similar shtick - superior execution.
