I'm completely suprised by the many things regarding my irrelevant drunk posted message

1: Gareth didn't flame me but responded thoughtfully 
2: some people actually took my flame and turned it into a great thread
3: the most abrasive e-mails I got were from people not defending the content of Gareth's orgional post but somehow defened the asthetics of the posting

I'm the first to admit the posting to the list was in err (i didn't actually mean to post to the whole list)  and not really in the traddition of a 
microsound discussion.  

I am thorughly pleased with the replys and thoughtfullness of everyone on the list.

I still don't like the genres that Gareth speaks of and still feel that they have no relevance to what I consider to be enjoyable to listen to but I sure don't have the right to decide for others.

Hopefully I will be more carefull in various states of sobriety  in the future.
