RE: [microsound] dean roberts question + more



actually, i've always felt that US Maple's first LP (w/ the bullfighter
cover) has some rather *figuratively* microsonic/scopic qualities to it...
while it has nothing to do with DSP, the quality of the sound they create --
esp. the guitar and rasping voice -- requires such attention, such a leaning
forward into it, that i find it quite appropriate for this list.  (what's
even more amazing is that when i saw them live, they preserved that very
quality... very hard to do in a "rock show" i'd imagine.)
