my eyes skipped over that last line at first, but then i realized s://kimo
is a *record store*. this doesn't automatically disqualify it, of course --
tower, of all people, managed to do a decent enough job with "pulse" for a
few years there (desert island discs, anyone?) -- but still i wonder at
s://kimo's motivation in attaching a zine to its operation. it all depends
on the "business model," of course, but where i come from this sort of
thing is generally referred to as a "conflict of interest."
