killer mac realtime app?!?

hello,

i've been a pc user for a long time, but i see that most microstars (90%)
use a powerbook live.
having recently acquired a mac for musical purposes only, i'd like to know
what programs do they/you use to manipulate sound in realtime.
there are sure a lot of apps for mangling sound, like supercollider,
soundhack, thonk, peak.... spark, even... but realtime?
max/msp? reaktor? what else?
