RE: [microsound] popularity of new music
I don't have a television. I haven't seen the commercial and probably never
will. I still like Oval. I don't want to buy a car, or perfume or whatever..
Some thoughts on theory: With the exception of manifestos by self-described
art movements (speaking of which, where is the microsound manifesto?) art
theory usually comes after art to explain it, analyze it, enrich the
collective experience. I personally do not believe that reading theory will
necessarily give you something to say. It is the way good writing/theory
resonates with an individual's experience that makes the theory compelling.
I find theory sometimes helps me to understand my experience, which is the
real inspiration for my work.

what i saw was a lift (15sec. version of 30 sec. ad)for an Armani fragrance
,the track is from Szenariodisk.it was in reply to <crankylistener> who must
really be enjoying all of this.
