I saw a Farmers Manual performance... They did interesting things on the
visual side. Very different from, say, what I witnessed during the Raster
night at Mutek. Whereas the latter mainly used simple geometrical shapes
(but to quite good effect, especially for noto's performance, for me), the
fm visuals made much more use of layered pictures and videos.

Also, during pauses (well, "human-activity" pauses, not sound pauses), they
sometimes outputted their computer displays on the screen: you could see the
network of patches (I think it was pd, but I've never used it) and some of
the software they used.
