For someone who´s been trying to write a PhD I´d say you are surprisingly full
of what at least seems like ignorance. Was this your attitude towards your PhD,
too? If it was, I can sort of understand why nothing came of it.

Yes, the sound is the pleasure (or not). And here´s the question, in all its
glorious and seducing simplicity, that seems to get some people so seriously
provoked: "But why?" I understand that you don´t give a damn, but do you think
it´s your call to tell other people they shouldn´t care?

And on what level is the "I really don´t give a toss" interesting? For the other
list members, I mean?

It´s strange. Some people display such an attitude towards this list it´s like
they´ve been forced to join it by the great theorizer (the phonetic similarity
to terrorizer is surely accidental).

As for time on the list...I´ve been having some time on my hands lately. That´s
just the way it goes.

n.p.: some MP3 from the NoType web. There seems to be megabytes and megabytes of
interesting material here!
