Oh, Jesus Christ.

So I meant to give Craig a poke for replying to the list and I did it
myself.

I think the reply-to field is set this way to make sure that Kim Cascone and
Sean Cooper--unstriated hierarchical  centralized top-down Microsoft
fascists that they are--have their thumbs on *everything* we could possibly
want to talk about.

On improvisation with a computer, one of the most interesting things I see
in it is that the computer can "improvise" as well.  You do something "Blind
Watchmaker" style where you play a bit and the computer comes up wiht a few
responses and you pick one and the computer responds to it...  You could
drive a whole improvised set with a quasi-GA this way and you'd still only
be clicking the mouse.  So it wouldn't affect your studied stage presence!
