Yes, the koban (police box) is a helpful little hut if one can be found, but in my case questions at shops and banks ellicited only the question: WHICH Daikon Business Plaza Building? Now if one could find the koban staffed by music geeks, perhaps a navigation around the 200 or so (according to legend) recordshops in Nishi-Shinjuku might be a bit easier. But for me it was Lost Apson... For some microsound content, what shocked me on my trip was that Tower Records in Shibuya had a huge and lovingly stocked experimental section including Selektion and WrK labels (Zero Gravity was down on the J-Pop floor) and that even a little Virgin in Shinjuku had a wall display for the Philus album on Sakho. If you saw such things at those chains here, you would suspect something had been sprinkled into your drink...
