No, honestly, it was our drum machine (a Kawai R-100 for all of the records) hiding; we just wanted the drink tickets and hid behind our smoke machine. The Kawai got all the groupies, but it still gets insecure and upset with "real drummer" accusations, so I will try not to let it see this post, despite its position above my monitor at the moment.


Well, past the silliness, the Kodama compilation "Across the Cell Wall" has just been on my stereo and had much in the micro way to offer, as well as surprising me with some uncharacteristically quiet and atmospheric work by its contributors; the long Twerk piece at the center of the album with the barest of distant clicks for rhythm was certainly a highlight of my first listen.

And then I wonder if any here might have comments about the new CD by Tomas Jirku on Force Inc.
