there's some interesting books by RE/SEARCH which provide interesting less 
theoretical more probing interviews articles...one is with THrobbing Gristle
/ William Burroughs / one other guy i can't remember the name of right now..

the other is CASSETTE MYTHOS which is an interesting look at underground 
cassette trading of the 80s mostly i think.

CYBERARTS '99 and '00 (again, part of the ARS Electronica / Digital music

also on the same token the books AUDIO ARTS - KUNST IN DER STADT (with 
articles on sound/radio artists, writings on/by duchamp, cage, etc..)
and ON THE AIR (which documents post-structuralist rhythms as well as 
real-live interactive advances in sound art)

there is a book by french post-structuralists called Multiple Meaning Techno 
: An Artistic and Political Laboratory of the
Present
(or something to this effect) written by some french post-structuralist 
critics.

as well as tetsuo kagawa's (sp?) writings on-line about setting up free fm 
transmitters (related to guattari's writings)

there's the, i think, august '00 (????) issue of WIRE magazine BOOM! THE 
SOUND ART EXPLOSION...okay stuff.

all interesting, relevent, etc.
