Los Apson is located  around 150 meters from Rough Trade (which i found to
be one of the most interesting shops in Shinjuku) but not on the same
street. ask the people at Rough Trade for directions. I would also recommend
to check out DiscUnion also in Shinjuku, a 7 floor recordshop with one
"avantgarde + Tzadik"-floor(!). cd-prices in japan are rather high tho'
seems like a *normal* price is around US$22-25...
