i also feel the sharp models are better than sony b/c
of the adjustable recording level. however, aiwa has
models with adjustable rec. level and backlighting on
the unit as well as the remote---quite handy. i have
an aiwa am-f70 and have been extremely pleased.
oh, actually the eject isnt the greatest on the aiwa
though. sony has em beat there.
