used one called wild tangent (pc_only) .. pretty powerful especially if you know yr java/c++ programming.. and to my knowledge has some pretty sophisticated midi support behind it.. definite possibility for multi-user generative sound/visual environment.. only ever scratched the surface myself.. free for personal/non-commercial development.. interest>www.wildtangent.com
