Folks in and around the Bay Area might be interested in the following 
event. One of my videos is being shown, as well as the work of Dean 
Santomieri (Archipelago/Foundry) and Michael Mantra (Hypnos).

An Evening of Experimental Video
July 27th, 9:00 pm

Curated by composer and video artist, Michael Mantra, the program 
features works by seminal video artist, Peter Freund, "Donkey Boy" 
Dean Santomieri, Bernard Wise, Paul Norris, experimental composers 
Sylvia Pengilly and Michael Bentley (eM), and ambient works by Norion 
Vision and Michael Mantra. Tonight's videos are of analog and digital 
realms, some contemporary and some older works, to illustrate the 
ephemeral nature of "state-of-the-art" technology and a brief history 
of experimental video aesthetics. 21 Grand is located at 21 Grand 
Ave. in Oakland just a half block east of Broadway.
