i am writing a paper on oval and was wanting to ask
audio producers on the list...(and thinkers as well)
a couple of questions
kim cascone has said that oval '...double-clicked an
entire genre of electronic music...'
*how important do you think oval were in the development in the
current state of experimental digital audio - both for the scene
and in your own production?
*what was it for you that they did?
*if they were not important, or not the most important, then what
figure(s) were and why?
any answers are appreciated.
