RE: [microsound] [OT][tech*talk] dedicated to DSP?



I'm interested in doing two things:

1) sound design, which many of the DSP units would be good for... 'nuff said.

and

2) realtime sample manipulation, which precious few DSP units really do. at 
best, you can stream a sound through them, but doing something complicated like 
convolution or granulation requires the sample to held on-board. i'm writing to 
DSP-Arts to see if this is something the Tauron would be good for. They've been 
pretty helpful so far with specs and example patches. i'll get back to the list 
if sample  manipulation is also an option.

is chameleon good on this sample-based level? igor, can you send a URL for the 
manufacturer?

any others?
