Well, not really. What you've done sounds pretty interesting, while
certainly not acousmatic. But I've seen perhaps only one laptop performance
similar to what you described, performed by mixing pre-recorded tracks in
ProTools to film. The performer faced the film rather than the audience,
and it completely changed the way the audience reacted. They laughed and
spoke out loud a bit in reaction to what they saw. Certainly not acousmatic
but also not the "rock star" position, either; I found it fun and inviting.
I'd be interesting in hearing about other solutions to the laptop challenge.
