Re: [microsound] seattle / vancouver /portland...venues/organizers

The Baltic room does do IDM on occasion, but it is a bit more slanted
towards the tech/house/electro side of things.
It is a beautiful place to play and the people involved with the Robo.Trash
night are amazing people.

(the predictable plug)

I, on the other hand, do a night *devoted* to microsound/glitch at
Nation/I-Spy every Tuesday called Portable Get-Down. We've been operational
for about 3 months and have had several acts come through, including some
list members. Needless to say, the turn outs at this point aren't really
that mentionable, but the owner is very patient and is very excited about
what we have going. It's moving along slowly but surely.

List members in the Seattle area should come by sometime.
