reviews (sort of) of Tetsu Inoue and Andrew Deutsch
Tetsu Inoue- has some great recent releases out
including:
Taylor Dupree/Tetsu Inoue: Active/Freeze
Tetsu Inoue & Andrew Deutsch: Field Tracker
Tetsu Inoue: Object and Organic Code
Tetsu Inoue & Carl Stone: pict.soul
Tetsu Inoue and Stephen Vitiello w/ Andrew Deutsch:
Humming Bird Feeder Ver0.2
all of these follow the same fragmented abstract dense
then sparse style he first showed us in the excellent
Tzadik releases (Fragment Dots and Psycho-Acoustic).
And if you like that stuff, you are likely to adore
(as I do) any and all of Andrew Deutsch's material. He
has *many* releases out on his own Magic If label,
complete with handmade packaging. i might say that
though his material is similar to Inoue's (they have
collaborated on two releases), it is perhaps more
organic/warm sounding...
If anyone knows how/where i might pick up more of
Deutsch's material (besides Anomalous Records because
i have all they are carrying and i know there are more
releases), please let me know...!
