yeah, but whether you buy that theory wholesale is another thing 
altogether!  many have disavowed all affinities to it already.

in any case, i think more sophisticated post-modernist critiques would 
allow that post-modernism is by no means a new process of artistic and 
cultural production, but rather has been a mode of production that has gone 
by unacknowledged in previous eras.
