actually, pitchforkmedia already has a review of the album from yesterday up here:

personally i disagree with their low score.

also, the new proper spelling of their name is godspeed you! black emperor with the ! behind "you".

p.s - i caught them live at the metro in chicago when they were touring before the release of "lift your skinny fists..." and yes, they are quite a spectacle!  it was especially refreshing to have walked out of the show into the year's first snow in october, walking around downtown by myself in the early/late night hours.  it seemed to match the whole aesthetic they have going on...<grin>
