good point:::..of course this being said..this was previewed with computer speakers..
if this was coming out my studio monitors at home..i wouldnt have needed to turn up the volume..there was a lot of people talking behind me.

with the idea that music needs to be at a certain volume level. I think
there is something to be said for the lowercase listening experience.
And I also don't necessarily think that lots of stuff needs to "happen"
in a piece. It's like Cage said: if something is boring for two minutes,
do it for four. If still boring, do it for eight, sixteen, thirty-two,
and so on. Eventually you find it's not boring at all but very
interesting.

Having said that, I think this track is a good length. Being three
minutes and some, it both reuses and refuses the pop song time-scale. A
space of emptiness which subverts the "eventfulness" of most pop
culture. 

I like this track. Very compelling. Even better with low volume IMNSHO.
