(OFF TOPIC!!!) microphone recomendations

Soz for the OT-ness but I know you guys out there know
the answer.....I`m looking to purchase a good all
round microphone for recording household sounds and
occasionally my guitar into soundforge and my
minidisc....
Can anyone, based on their experience, recomend me a
suitable microphone for this task.....i`m looking to
spend less than £70-80/ $100.
