Kim Cascone
with special guest Pauline Oliveros
the pioneer of microsound meets the founder of deep listening
Troy, NY: iEAR presents computer musician and microsound pioneer Kim
Cascone in concert Wednesday, November 20, 2002, at 8 PM in West Hall
Auditorium on the campus of Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute in Troy,
New York. The first set will be a solo performance of new electronic
music and video by Kim Cascone. He will be joined for a second set by
iEAR professor Pauline Oliveros, an internationally renowned composer
and performer. Admission is $5 for general public and $3 for RPI
community members with ID and seniors. For more information, call

iEAR presents! is a series of public performances, exhibitions and
lectures featuring pioneering and emerging artists who explore the
boundaries of electronic art. iEAR Studios, integrated Electronic Arts
at Rensselaer, supports the unique programs offered by the Arts
Department at Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute in Troy, New York.
